WHEN & WHY DID YOU JOIN BEC?
I joined BEC in 2024 because when I met Marcus and his team, I could tell that he had a special group that was doing more for their clients besides just compliance work. BEC is a group dedicated to actually making a positive difference in the lives of their clients and I wanted to be part of that and contribute!

HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN YOUR CAREER?
I first was exposed to accounting in my high school through classes they offered and it clicked instantly. I stuck with it through college and knew that I wanted to become a CPA early on.

I have been able to be a vital member of organizations in transportation, advertising, web development and hospitality, in addition to serving clients of various industries, both large and small in public accounting. My primary focus though has become taxation and I am excited to use my accumulated knowledge and the advanced strategies of BEC to help our clients prosper.

WHAT ARE YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE/PASSIONS?
I have a high attention to detail and greatly enjoy getting to know our clients and finding ways to help make the most of what they have worked so hard for. 

FUN FACT
I am an avid enthusiast of traveling to natural wonders and places of significant historical events. This has led me to visit roughly 180 National Park Service units across the country in 43 states and DC. I have also had the privilege of visiting 5 other countries in North America and the Caribbean. 

FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOUR JOB
My favorite thing about being a tax manager at BEC, is the ability it offers me to get to know our clients and be able to become their trusted advisor with anything accounting and taxation related.
